• What is a proforma invoice?

If the goods to be shipped have no commercial value, such as sample or gift shipments, a so-called proforma invoice must be provided. The proforma invoice serves as a document of proof. No customs duties will be charged. 

The proforma invoice must correspond in content to the commercial invoice.
