• Customs clearance outside the EU
The EFTA states (European Free Trade Association) include Switzerland, Iceland and Norway. All other countries are referred to as third countries.
Consignments within EFTA states and third countries must always be declared to customs. The following is required for this:
EORI number (Economic Operators Registration and Identification). The EORI number is applied for at German customs.
Commercial invoice: the original and three copies (except for Great Britain, Switzerland and Norway - here the original commercial invoice is sufficient). The commercial invoice is generated automatically when the dispatch note is created.
Customs declaration (CN22 or CN23) for shipments sent by a postal company (DHL). These are generated automatically when the dispatch note is created.
Franking / delivery conditions for determining the customs clearance costs of the recipient and/or sender.
An electronic export declaration is required for goods with a value of €1,000 or more.
A declaration of origin is required on the commercial invoice for goods with a value of less than €6,000.
For goods with a value of €6,000 or more, a movement certificate EUR.1 stamped by customs is also required.
Please note that shipments with incomplete or incorrect customs information will be returned at your expense.
