• Shopify Integration
The Shopify interface saves time and workload. You no longer have to enter the data manually but can import all your data automatically and shipping labels can be created with just a few clicks. In addition, the track IDs are automatically stored in Shopify.
To be able to use the Shopify interface, you need to create a one-time personal API key and connect to your Shopify account.
To do this, please follow these 3 steps:
Step 1: Creating the personal API key
1. Open your Shopify account and go to Settings.
2. Click on “Apps” and “Sales channels”.
3. Click on “Create apps”.
4. Click on “Create an app”.
5. Enter your company name under “App name”: Shipstage 1.0, App_Developer should have been selected automatically. And confirm with “Create app”.
6. Click “Configure Admin-Api areas”.
7. Enter “Fulfill” in the search field and tick the listed fields:
“read_orders , read_fulfillments, write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders,
read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders, write_assigned_fulfillment_orders, write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders, write_third_party_fulfillment_orders”.
8. Click on “Install app” under API credentials and on “Install”.
9. Click on “Show token once" and copy the key into a separate document for secure storage, as the key is not displayed a second time. Otherwise step 1 must be repeated.
Step 2: Integration
1. Go to the menu item Integration on our Shipstage page.
2. Select Shopify under “Shop Systems”.
3. Click on “Connect”.
4. Add the app name, the shop url and the key created in step 1 to Shipstage.
5. Click on “Add”.
Step 3: Automatic data transfer
The interface is now permanently set up. It enables automatic data transfer. All data from Shopify is transferred to the “Unpaid packages” and the shipping labels can be created.
