• Setting Up the JTL2Shipstage Shipping Manager

The JTL2Shipstage Shipping Manager automates the creation of shipping labels directly from JTL-Wawi. As soon as a delivery note is marked as shipped, a shipping label is automatically generated an the tracking number is written back to JTL-Wawi.

To use the JTL2Shipstage Shipping Manager, the application must be installed and configured once.

The following Steps are required:

Step 1: Installation ad Database Connection Setup

  1. Launch the provided installation file and follow the installation wizard.
  2. Once, the installation has been completed succesfully, start the application. After the first launch, the Settings-Window will open automatically.
  3. Enter te connection details for your JTL-Wawi database:

         - Server / IP-Address

         - Port

         - Database Name

         - Username

         - Password

      4. Save the settings and click "Test Connection" to verify the database connection


Step 2: Configure the Shipstage API-Token:

  1. In your Shipstage Dashboard, navigate to: Integration-> API-Integration
  2. Copy the API-Token and enter it into the Shipping Manager
  3. Next, select your preferred label printer and define the default package dimension that should be used when creating shipments.


Step 3: Assign Shipping Methods

Map the shipping methods from JTL-Wawi to the corresponding Shipstage services. Only correct assigned shipping methods allow the sysem to automatically generate the appropiate shipping labels.


The configuration is now complete.

Whenever a delivery note is marked as shipped in JTL-Wawi, JTL-WMS or the packing table, the shipping manager automatically runs in the backround. The shipping label is created, the tracking number is written back to JTL-Wawi and the label is printed automatically.


Requirements:

 The JTL2Shipstage Shipping Manager is installed on a Windows system directly at the shipping workstation. A valid JTL-Wawi installation and access to the Microsoft SQL Server database, including the required login credentials, are required. No additional components or runtime environments need to be installed as all necessary depencies are already in the installation package.
